Give user permission to root file

/ / give user permission to root file

If you want to change permission on an individual file named filename.ext, then you can do so by running the following command:

sudo chown $USER:$USER filename.ext

Whereas if you want to change permissions on all files in the current directory then you can do so by running the following command:

sudo chown $USER:$USER ./*

That’s all there is to it :)
